Terms of Service
- Hanz is an AI coach that calls and messages you about your tasks. It is not a doctor, therapist or emergency service.
- Hanz is AI and can get things wrong. You stay in charge of your own decisions.
- Subscriptions are billed and cancelled through the App Store or Google Play.
- Your tasks and conversations are yours. Delete your account any time.
These terms are an agreement between you and Hanz App ("we", "us") for using Hanz. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.
1. Who can use Hanz
You must be at least 16 and able to agree to these terms. Keep your password safe; you are responsible for what happens in your account.
2. What Hanz does
You tell Hanz what you plan to do. He checks in by call or message at the times you set, asks how it went, and follows up. He remembers things you tell him so check-ins feel personal. Calls happen inside the Hanz app, not over the phone network.
3. Hanz is not medical or emergency help
- Hanz is a productivity tool. It does not diagnose, treat or replace care for ADHD or any other condition.
- Don't rely on Hanz for medication reminders or anything where a missed check-in could cause harm. Calls can fail because of your phone, your connection, quiet hours or plan limits.
- If you are in crisis or in danger, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line. Hanz cannot get you help.
4. AI can be wrong
Hanz's replies are written by an AI model. They can be inaccurate, misunderstand you, or record an outcome you didn't mean. Check anything important, and correct Hanz in the app when he gets it wrong.
5. Plans and payments
- Free includes a set number of call minutes and messages. Paid plans include more, as shown in the app at the time you buy.
- Subscriptions are sold through the App Store or Google Play and renew automatically until you cancel in your store account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the paid period.
- Some yearly plans include a free trial. If you don't cancel before it ends, you are billed. Hanz will remind you before the trial ends.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
- When you run out of call minutes, check-ins switch to messages until your allowance resets. Unused minutes, messages and add-on packs do not carry over unless the app says otherwise.
- We may change prices or limits. Price changes apply from your next renewal, and we or the store will tell you first.
6. Your content
Your tasks, messages and what you tell Hanz stay yours. You give us permission to store and process them only to run Hanz for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. We don't use them for advertising.
7. Fair use
Don't:
- use Hanz to harass anyone, or to plan anything illegal or harmful;
- try to break, overload, reverse engineer or get around the limits of the service;
- make accounts automatically, share an account, or resell access;
- try to make Hanz produce harmful content.
8. Ending your account
You can delete your account any time; see the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data. Deleting your account does not cancel a store subscription, so cancel that in your store settings too. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.
9. Changes to Hanz and these terms
Hanz will change and improve, and features may be added or removed. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Using Hanz after that means you accept the new terms.
10. Disclaimers and liability
Hanz is provided "as is". We don't promise it will always be available, error-free, or that it will make you more productive. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for missed check-ins, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can't be waived.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Egypt, and disputes go to the courts of Giza, unless the law where you live gives you the right to use your local courts.
